Top Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on iOS in Oman: Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the iOS platform in Oman saw interesting trends among the top carpooling and ridesharing apps. The data, provided by Sensor Tower, highlights the performance of these apps in terms of downloads and active users, offering a glimpse into their popularity and user engagement.

Yango: taxi, food, delivery experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 3.1K in the last week of December. This growth was mirrored in its weekly active users, which surged from 236 at the start of the quarter to over 3K by the end.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, averaging around 650 downloads weekly. Its active user base remained stable, fluctuating slightly around 13.5K users.

Bolt: Request a Ride saw a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting at 625 and ending at 377. The app's active users also showed a downward trend, closing the quarter at approximately 3.4K.

Grab: Taxi Ride, Food Delivery experienced a decrease in downloads, with numbers dropping from 451 to 270 over the quarter. Despite this, its active users remained relatively stable, ending the period at around 10.8K.

Careem – rides, food & more saw a modest increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter, finishing at 475. Its active user count showed a positive trend, rising from 1.9K to 2.4K.
